      • Description: The optical microscopy with polarized light model BX51 is ideal for observation and planar samples. Coupled to Instec heating /cooling stage allows temperature-dependent analsysis. It has 5 objectives with 10, 20, 40 and 100x magnification for measurments in bright field and dark field with reflected light (Xenon) and transmitted tungsten. It has polarizing filters with angle adjustment and optical density filters. The XY sample holder platform allows precise adjustment and positioning of samples up to 4" and can accommodate 1" x3 " slides. The image acquisition system is equipped with a 1.024 x 768 pixel CCD camera and software for data analysis treatment.
